We swam in our Conference meet last week, and we had some really great individual performances:

• Olivia S and Felix were both conference champions in the 50 fly
• Many swimmers swam in their first conference meet, all of them dropped time, and a few earned medals
• New swimmers earning medals: Carson, Gabe, Lily, Ashton, Carter, Gali, and Gaby
• Returning swimmers earning medals: Daniela, Olivia M, Brooke, Olivia S, Genevieve, Zach, Josiah, Felix, and Inaya
• A few swimmers helped the team by trying new events or swam in older age groups

Thanks to everyone for their help at this meet and throughout this season. We're excited to celebrate with you all on Tuesday, and we look forward to the summer season.

EACH TEAM IS TO PROVIDE 2 TIMERS FOR THE DURATION OF THE MEET

Reminder of USA Swim Regulations :

* NO CHANGING IN/OUT OF SWIMWEAR/CLOTHING ON DECK OR IN THE GYM.
* NO CELL PHONES/CAMERAS ARE TO BE IN USE WHILE IN THE LOCKERROOMS.
 
Doors will open at 8:00 AM
Warm ups will be from 8:30 - 9:50 AM (allows coaches to run (2) 40 min warmups by age if desired)
The meet will start at 10:00 AM

Our final dual meet of the season against Chicago South Swim Club resulted in a nice win for the E.A.S.C. All of our swimmers really swam great, but the swimmers of the meet are: Carter, Zach, Mercedes, and Ashley.

Carter had a great race in the 100 IM, swimming a personal best time and placing 2nd. He also had a beautiful 50 butterfly, placing first. Zach had a great race in the 100 freestyle, dropping 4 seconds! He has been working on dropping time in that event for a while now!

Mercedes and Ashley both have amazing attitudes about swimming. They are always ready for their events and have great sportsmanship. Mercedes dropped 3 seconds in her 50 free and 13 seconds in her 50 backstroke! Ashley swam her best 100 freestyle in several meets, finally getting back under 1:45! 

Good job to all swimmers! We're looking forward to Conference!
