The E.A.S.C. finished 3rd in conference, earning a trophy for the first time since we restarted the team in 2014. Overall, it was a good meet, with many great performances across the board. Here are some highlights:

This was a great last dual meet of the season! Races were close, relays were fast, and most swimmers dropped time on their events! It was great to see the everyone on the team cheering and showing a lot of sportsmanship at the meet. Our swimmers of the meet are: Liam, Mateo, Esmeralda, and Genevieve.
Liam was a big help when he swam up in both of the 9-10 boys relays! He was very flexible and showed his ability to help the team. He also dropped 1 second to win the 25 backstroke in his age group. Mateo dropped 1 second in his 100 fly, and 25 seconds in his 200 IM! He has been practicing his turns everyday in practice and it really payed off. Esme was an awesome help in both of her relays, and was able to drop 2 seconds to win her 100 backstroke, which is really difficult because she wasn't in a close race with anyone. Genevieve dropped 3 seconds in her 100 free and had a great 100 breast despite her goggles falling off. Gen was a huge help in both of her relays as well! We are so proud of all of our swimmers, and we're looking forward to seeing everyone swim at conference! |
