What a whirlwind meet. After a series of technical issues we were finally able to get the meet going. Everyone swam great and we had a lot of time dropped. Here are four most notable swimmers from the night.
David Carey: David is one of our older experienced swimmers. He used his skills to help out all the young and new swimmers figure out their events. He really helped the meet run smooth. Kaelyn Junious: Kaelyn has been working on her breast stroke. Her improved technique helped her finish a 100 IM in under 1.25. Josh Childress: Josh is an amazing back stroker. I think we may have found his stroke. Josh placed first in his backstroke event. Nia James: Nia is very special. At the age of 6 she can swimm all strokes beautifully. This night she swam amazingly well and cheered on her teammates.

What a great scrimmage! White team won! We saw some great sportsmanship, some great starts, and some great swimming. We are happy with how our season has started and now we know where we need to go.
Here are the swimmers of the meet: Sha'man Spann: Sha'man cheered his heart out. His cheering was infectious to his teammates. Ava Stevens: Ava also cheered her team on. She was seen encouraging others to cheer as well. Ja'Zarah Moore: First meet jitters are real! Ja'Zarah swam her first meet and rocked it. Aaliyah Hooks: Aaliyah hates butterfly. None-the-less she swam it and dropped 4 seconds! |
