After a successful Red and White meet (and a close White team victory) a few swimmers stood out as swimmers of the meet: Franco, Lukas, Kayla, Lily, Ashton, and Gabi.

This was Franco's first swim meet ever, and he was able to compete at a high level, bringing in a win as the anchor to the medley relay, where he swam a :31.57 50 freestyle. 
This was Lukas's first meet in several years, but his leadership abilities were evident as he helped out many of the new swimmers get lined up and find their relays. 

Kayla, Lily, Ashton, and Gabi all have had an awesome first meet of their lives! All of them asked good questions, and were ready for their events when it was time to swim.

Kayla won her 50 free with a time of :40.12. Lily swam very hard in all of her events and showed a lot of sportsmanship when she was cheering for her teammates. Ashton placed very well and competed against the 8 year olds, even though he is only 6! Gabi helped her teammates line up and find their lanes, even though this was her first meet ever. That's the kind of teammate we love! 

Last night was our 5th Red and White scrimmage meet since the E.A.S.C. was restarted in 2014. It was absolutely the closest one we've had to date. There were lots of great swims from returning swimmers and even more great swims from the beginners! We are off to a tremendous start.
And, like last season, the White Team was victorious!

This season, we will be signing up for meets on our website. Please visit the Meet Schedule / Signup page to sign up for the meets. Although the deadline has passed for the Red and White Meet, we will extend it to Monday. Please respond with whether or not your swimmer will attend. 

The rest of our meets for the season are posted as well. Please be sure to sign up for them before the due date or your swimmers may not be entered in the meets.
