Swimmers of the Meet - Thursday, December 29th, 2016 - Mateo, Kenif, Chris M, Elise, Izzy, and Noah N

We had another successful meet last night agiainst Bradley Bourbonnais. Almost everybody swam best times, and there were a lot of close races. There were so many great swims, we had to pick six Swimmers of the Meet. They are: Mateo, Kenif, Chris M, Elise, Izzy, and Noah N.

Mateo swam a 100 breaststroke for the first time, and did well with a 2:08.15! He also dropped 8 seconds on his 100 IM by really sprinting the second half of the race. Kenif swam her first ever 50 butterfly and was under a minute. She also dropped 2 seconds in her 50 free and was an asset to both of her relays. Chris won his 50 free by 7 hundredths of a second. He also swam his first ever 50 fly and won by 8 seconds! 

Elise just turned 9, so she swam 50s for the first time and ended up placing 2nd in the 50 back with a :49.54. Izzy swam a 100 IM for the first time ever, and she swam very well in the free relay. Noah had his best meet of the season, dropping 13 seconds in his 50 backstroke!
