Our final dual meet of the year was against the Chicago South Swim Club! It was a fun meet, and the swimmers truly raced well. Our swimmers of the meet are: Rose, Gisselle, Josiah, and Romeo.
Rose dropped a second on her 50 freestyle and 10 seconds on her 100 IM! Awesome! Gisselle shed 5 seconds off of her 50 breaststroke and 2 seconds off the 50 backstroke, finally breaking 1:00 on her backstroke! Romeo dropped 6 seconds in his 50 free and 13 seconds on his 50 backstroke! Josiah has been a great role model for the younger swimmers, demonstrating great racing while helping them prepare for their events. We are so proud of our swimmers after this fun season! Our next meet is conference, and the lineup will be posted today at the pool. Again, not every swimmer will swim conference.

These kids seemed to be really serious towards their swimming career at their very early age. Rose seems to be a kid with a lot of determination, that’s why I really love her! Other kids share the same passions towards swimming too, but Rose allotted a lot of time for training. Romeo, Josiah, and Giselle seemed to be great swimmers too and I am hoping that you will make a feature article featuring their stories because I am sure that they are very inspiring too! I am still looking forward to hear more from them!
