Swimmers of the Meet - Thursday, June 7, 2018 - Aldo, Mateo, Andrea, and Corri

Our meet last week saw many improvements from the previous week. Almost every swimmer dropped time in at least one event, and the team had many fewer DQs. Also, many swimmers tried the 100 freestyle for the first time, and we were incredibly impressed with their performance. Swimmers of the meet are: Aldo, Mateo, Andrea, and Corri.

Aldo had an awesome 100 freestyle - his first time ever swimming it. He kept his head down and finished strong. He also dropped time in his 100 IM! Mateo, after a season of not dropping time, shed 5 seconds off of his 100 butterfly! It was a beautiful race. Andrea swam a 50 freestyle for the first time ever, and she also dropped 12 seconds off of her 25 backstroke! We are so proud of her progress. After swimming 50s last week, Corri dropped 6 whole seconds off of her 25 breaststroke! Overall, we are so impressed by every one of our athletes, and are excited for the final few weeks of the season.
