Swimmers of the Meet - Thursday, May 31, 2018 - Lily, Aylin, Nathaniel, and Noah

Our meet last Thursday against the GILLS was a great learning experience. Most swimmers tried new events, many tried longer events. Some swimmers got disqualified for silly mistakes - which is okay because we are here to learn. Many athletes had great races against their teammates and their competition. Ultimately, we did win the meet by 20 points! Swimmers of the meet are: Lily, Aylin, Nathaniel, and Noah.

Lily had an amazing meet! She won all of her events, including her relays, and really pushed herself to great, close finishes. We are so proud of her! Aylin tried the 100 free for the first time, and swam it beautifully! She dropped time in her other races and was overall incredibly competitive. That is exactly what we are looking for at swim meets. Nathaniel won the 50 butterfly by a hundredth of a second. It was a great finish, and exactly what we train for! Noah dropped 32 seconds on his 100 freestyle. That is a crazy amount of time to drop! We are so impressed with our team, especially our swimmers of the meet!
