As the season winds down with final duel meet behind us, we want to take a moment to thank everyone who has been part EASC thus far. Everyone - swimmers, parents, and coaches - has put in so much time and energy in making our team as amazing as it is. All of the coaches are beyond proud of the progress each swimmer has made and is looking forward to the seasons to come. Our final meet against Burbank was a great way to end the dual meet season. We had swimmers dropping time, trying new events, and most importantly, showing great sportsmanship.
The swimmers of the meet were: Jenny, Olivia, Carter, and Jordan. Jenny has been swimming with us for multiple seasons and is the younger sister of our very own coach Alan. She dropped time in all of her events, most notably dropping ten seconds in her 100-yard free style. Olivia, also a veteran EASC swimmer, was a great asset to her relays and dropped time in both her individual events. Carter has joined EASC again, after taking a few seasons off, and has been putting in the time and energy. He swam some amazing races, dropped time, and was a great cheerer for our other swimmers. Jordan, another EASC returner, stepped up this meet by swimming in the age group above his usual in both of his relay events, helping to gain many points for our team. Congratulations to all! We are so proud of you.
