Swimmers of the Meet - Tuesday, June 16th, 2015 - Beatriz, Julio, and Cynthia

Beatriz, Julio, and Cynthia all had amazing swims while trying new events at our tri meet against Oak Forest Swim Association and Greater Illinois Swimmers. 

Not only did Beatriz, 15, swim great in her relays, she also had awesome swims in her 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke. However, what was really impressive was her first ever 200 IM! She started out the season not knowing how to swim butterfly.

Julio, 16, is always helpful and supportive during swim meets, and he exemplifies what it means to be a tough swimmer by volunteering to swim both his first 200 IM as well as his first 200 butterfly, 

Cynthia, 14, was amazing during all of her relays and she also swam (and had a great race) her first ever 100 butterfly, in addition to her usual events. All three of the swimmers of the meet show exactly the benefits of hard work and a great attitude.
