Swimmers of the Meet - Tuesday, June 23rd - Stephanie, Hannah, and Aki

Great news from our small team! The Sea Demons celebrated our first victory last night (against Bradley) since restarting last fall.

Swimmers of the meet are: Stephanie C., Hannah V., and Aki S. Stephanie's work ethic and focus has been tremendous in practice and it was definitely shown at the meet last night. Swimming lifetime bests in the 50 free and 50 back!

This was Hannah's second meet after joining the team late in the season, and she dropped 9 seconds on her 50 free! This was after facing her fears about even competing in meets!

Last night was Aki's last meet competing with us, because his exchange program is coming to an end, and he is going back to Japan next week. He finished his American swimming career strong with great swims in the 100 free and 100 breast. We celebrated his time with us after the meet with cake brought by some amazing parents. You will be missed, Aki.
